Ashley meets clients where they are at and helps them identify their own goals for therapy.

Ashley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor, specializing in substance abuse, healthy relationships, and trauma. She believes everyone deserves to be happy and healthy, and the path to such can look different for each individual client. She takes a client-focused approach, meeting the clients where they are at and helping them identify their own goals for therapy. She utilizes a strengths-based approach and trauma-informed lens, and evidenced-based treatment modalities including Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Since graduating with her MSW from the University of Southern California in 2013, she has conducted evaluations, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy to adolescent and adult offenders in the justice system, patients at inpatient psychiatric facilities, and outpatient clients. She presented at the annual Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) conference in July 2021, on two topics: 1) Boundaries in Therapy, and 2) Enhancing Supervision and Treatment with Young Adults. Additionally, she conducts supervision for graduate students and new social workers and counselors working toward licensure.

Outside of the mental health field, Ashley is the Executive Director for the KNU for Kids Foundation, a small family-run foundation that partners with non-profit organizations. She has advised collegians since 2013, and currently works with students and advisors at the University of Denver, University of California at Irvine, and University of Northern Colorado. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world with her husband, spending time with her two dogs, and fostering other dogs until they find their forever homes.
