I’m Molly Pike, a healing enthusiast through and through.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, former Wellness Coach and a Registered Yoga Teacher. I believe in the innate ability for people to heal. Just like we come to the aid of our body when it is injured, we can offer this to our mental, emotional and spiritual selves as well. I would be honored to be a part of your healing or self-exploration journey, wherever you may be on that path. I currently work on tele-therapy with adults 18+. I work with individuals experiencing a range of life experiences, but my skillset lends itself best to challenges related to trauma, anxiety, panic, self-esteem, co-dependency, attachment wounds and shame.

My practice is deeply rooted in mindfulness and curiosity, supporting my clients in becoming more acquainted with themselves and their inner world. I aim to create a nonjudgmental space to be authentic and real with you so that you can be authentic and real with yourself. I help guide you in getting to see the function in what you may consider a dysfunction. These may be parts of yourself that worked so hard for you to survive during your hard life experiences, but perhaps ran their course in ways that no longer support you. When we are done working together, my hope is that you can have new internal skills so that you can create the change you would like to see in your life. Mastery of new skills can reveal new outcomes and life experiences (old, unhelpful patterns–take the back seat!)  You may be more willing to see the resilient, powerful parts of yourself you may have dismissed before and feel more comfortable sitting with the painful parts. As the cliche goes, “what you resist persists,” so I find true power in acceptance of the full, complicated human experience.

I utilize a variety of modalities in my sessions to meet the unique needs of my clients. Some include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, as well as many experiential mindfulness and somatic exercises to regulate the nervous system. If this reads to you like alphabet soup (it often can for me, too) then please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can discuss how any of these methods might be supportive to you.
